MIPIM Monitor – Day Four
MIPIM 2017, you were as brilliant as ever; we caught up with old friends and shared drinks with new, we were inspired by plans set to transform our cities, we jumped onboard beautiful yachts and we raised money for the fantastic LandAid – not a bad four days in the office! But before we head back across the Channel, here’s a look at the highlights from today in our MIPIM Monitor:
Plans have been unveiled for a 1 million sq ft marine, energy and automotive park in the Wirral. MEA Park at West Float, located in the Mersey Waters Enterprise Zone, will target manufacturers in the energy and marine sectors.

The HVM City programme hopes to attract investment with Black Country manufacturing strategy with two programmes: the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Energy Capital programme and HVM City Platform. The scheme is predicted to bring in over £1bn to the Black Country and to create more than 73,000 jobs.

Leeds City Council has encouraged funders and developers to invest in city infrastructure with 84 sites highlights. 20,000 new homes are scheduled at Leeds brownfield sites by 2028.Back to blog
