Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council, described Marketing Manchester as: “The biggest partnership; we’ve doubled in size over the past five years, and this shows the length and breadth of the Manchester offer.”

A £247m funding deal between Select Property Group and Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund has been agreed. The Affinity Living PRS development marks the largest fully funded PRS scheme in Manchester and will be developed at Circle Square on the former BBC Oxford Road site.

During Capita’s City Visions event Pat Ritchie, chief executive of Newcastle City Council said: “The investment in our places needs to be driven by people upskilling and by modern economics. We need a granular approach that stops skills gravitating to London after Brexit.”
