Why we have become a living wage employer

We’re proud to announce that High Access has been accredited as a living wage employer by the Living Wage Foundation, and wanted to share why we felt this was an important move.

First things first. When was the last time any of us went into a business meeting or started a day’s work thinking we’d give it the minimum investment required and expected to get the best results? Nothing about the way we do business at High Access involves a minimum effort as we seek to consistently deliver the height of expertise.

We are an ambitious and growing business with a dedicated team that works around the clock for our clients. As an employer, we wanted to ensure our people felt valued and rewarded fairly for the the great work they do. A Government survey found more than 70% of workers felt more positive by the living wage being introduced in April, and 59% more motivated by the move. The national living wage will see people earn £7.20 from April and we’ve ensured everyone in our 50-strong team will earn a minimum hourly wage of £8.25.
