Case study story

Details

We were commissioned by Space Engineering Ltd to supply and install a Plygene Gutterline System at their unit in Bristol.

Works carried out:

Our team started by ensuring the gutter was thoroughly cleaned and any protrusions were cut back as much as possible or covered to protect the liner from any damage. The edges of the liner were passed over the top edge of the gutter and under the cladding sheets. Once the liner had been fitted down the full length of the gutter, a template to the shape of the gutter end was cut. The end of the liner was warmed, folded and pressed into shape by clamping the template to the existing gutter end stop. When the liner had cooled the template was replaced by the angled end stop and bolted securely in position. Finally our trained fitters hot air welded a moulded unit in situ for the angled side outlet.
