Case study story

We were commissioned by Peter Lloyd Signs to install a sign at Axis Business Park, Liverpool, for T.J.Morris Ltd, more commonly known as Home Bargains.

Works carried out:

We supplied a specialist team of qualified rope access operatives and supervisor, along with our 46m truck mounted access platform and IPAF operatives.

The 46m truck mounted access platform was used for access and egress of the mobile weight anchorarge system, which is required for abseiling.

Our rope access team began by removing the existing sign, once removed they began installing the new steel framework using tech fixings and cordless drills on lanyards.

Further preparation took place on the roof by threading cord through the eyelets around the edge of the sign, this enables the sign to be tensioned tight when attached to the framework.

Once fully prepared the sign was then installed and finished off with pieces of trimming fixed around the edges.

Equipment deployed:

2 Specialist Rope Access Operatives

Level 2 Supervisor

Mobile Weight Anchor System

46m Truck Mounted Access Platform

2 Specialist Working At Height Operatives
